Our Mission... to reflect Christ alive in the community.
Sunday Service - 9:30AM Each Sunday
We worship together using a traditional format with mainly hymns from Together in Song, "As One Voice" and the IONA community.
Sunday Kids and Minis is held at the same time as the service, with children worshipping together for the first part of the service and then having their special time together. A great team of dedicated teachers prepare an interesting and fun learning time, catering for infants and primary school age children during school terms.
Communion is held during the service on the 1st Sunday of the month and the UCA has an open table.
We welcome you to an informal time to chat over morning tea, held in our Hall after each service. Special morning teas are held for birthdays, pastoral friends circles, Pancake Day and other occasions.

History
The current Church building opened in 1866 with the congregation beginning back in 1825, further up Marsden Road. The pioneers of the early days were Methodists who had a strong commitment to social justice and caring for the needy. In 2016 we celebrated our 150th Anniversary since the Church building opened. People have worshipped, witnessed and served Jesus Christ by serving people in the wider community.
